Germany was seduced by stories into starting not one but two World Wars. Because of this, in the aftermath of their "20th century double blunder", the Germans had to rely on a kind of anti-hero approach to stories. This audio essay is about Herophobia - the fear of heroes. And it is about how best to avoid it.

This audio essay is a repurposed and slightly edited version of a video I made some months before I myself started comparing India's political status to Nazi Germany. I was less aware then, and as a result, more hopeful. Things have changed, obviously.
